Can anyone learn reiki?
Although reiki isnt taught in the traditional sense, certainly anyone can be attuned to reiki energy. As you strengthen your reiki practice, you will normally move through three levels.
Reiki Level I
At level one you will be opened up to the reiki energy so you can begin using reiki. You will be encouraged to meditate and practice working with the energy during two daily sessions. This will let you work on yourself and others. Typically during level one you will learn about reiki history, hand positions, reiki principles, preparing for and giving treatment, and possibly chakras and auras.
Reiki Level II
At level two you learn reiki symbols and how to use them to strengthen your connection to the energy. Reiki is no respecter of time or distance, and you will learn how to send reiki energy to any location in the world, and to the past or future. The reiki symbols can be used for emotional/mental healing, protection or clearing of negative energies.
Reiki Level III
Is the master or teaching level. Here you will learn how to use some more reiki symbols and how to teach and attune others to reiki energy.
